Greg and Suzette met in optometry school in Memphis in 1987. It was love at first sight for him. For her, it took a great deal of convincing. Ever hear the saying “opposites attract”… well, it’s true! Nonetheless, they have been a couple ever since. Upon graduation they married in 1991 and moved to Florida to set up practice and settled in to have their family in the Daytona Beach area. They have three amazing children, now adults, Courtney, Katie and Brett. They have a great working relationship as Doctors, husband and wife and parents.
After practicing optometry for 17 years locally, they decided to open Blahnik Eye Care in 2009. It was both a challenge and an accomplishment to open a business during a time of dire economic straits, but if you look around you will see the fruits of their labor of love. They are proud to offer compassionate full scope optometric services. They take great pride in their family taking care of others in the community.
